Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 September 2026
STS Trading provides software. We are not a broker, not a prop firm, not a fund and not a financial adviser. We never hold your trading money, and we never trade on your behalf without you switching that on yourself.
1. Who we are, and what this agreement covers
STS Trading is a trading name of Aurion Labs, registered in Wyoming, USA ("STS", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and us for your use of the STS website, the STS terminal, the bridge software and anything else we provide.
By creating an account, subscribing, or using any of it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the services. Our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy form part of this agreement.
2. What STS is
STS is a subscription software service. It:
- scans a fixed list of instruments for setups defined by published strategy rules, and ranks what it finds using backtested statistics
- shows you the record behind each signal: the entry, the stop, the targets and the trades the statistics were measured over
- sends alerts by Telegram, email and push notification, if you set rules for them
- can place an order on your own MetaTrader account, through a bridge you install and connect yourself
- records your closed trades so you can review your own results
- provides educational material about the statistics behind all of it
3. What STS is not
This section is the important one, and it is written plainly because people arrive with the opposite assumption:
- We are not a broker. We do not hold your money, we do not execute your orders, and we have no custody of any account.
- We are not a prop firm. We do not set you a challenge, we do not fund you, and we take no share of your profits.
- We are not a fund, an asset manager or a portfolio manager. We do not trade your account at our discretion.
- We are not a financial adviser. Nothing in the product is a personal recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- We do not guarantee any result, and we cannot: the outcome depends on your broker, your settings, your decisions and the market.
The only money that moves between you and us is what you pay for a subscription. Trading capital stays with your broker, in your name.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where you live. You must not use the services where doing so would break the law that applies to you, and it is your responsibility to know whether the instruments you trade, and the tools you use to trade them, are permitted in your country.
5. Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current.
- Your sign-in details and your licence key are yours alone. Do not share them or let anyone else use your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including orders placed from it.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
- There is a free plan, and there are paid plans. What a plan changes is where you may trade and what infrastructure comes with it, not which features of the software you get.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, in US dollars, either monthly or once a year, as you choose at checkout, until you cancel.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and your account then returns to the free plan.
- Subscriptions are not refundable, except where the law gives you a right we cannot remove. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy sets this out.
- We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to you.
7. Licence to use the software
While your account is in good standing we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the terminal and the bridge for your own trading. You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent or share access with anyone else
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law says you may
- scrape, bulk download or redistribute our signals, statistics or data, or build a competing service from them
- remove or obscure any notice of ownership
- use automated means to hammer our systems, or try to get around security, rate limits or access controls
8. Your broker, your account, your trades
Every order STS places goes to YOUR account at YOUR broker. The trade, the risk and the outcome are yours.
- Your relationship with your broker is governed by their agreement with you, not by this one. We are not a party to it.
- Automatic trading only happens on a book you have armed yourself, at the risk you set, and you can stop it.
- You choose the risk per trade, the limits and the exits. We do not judge whether those settings suit your circumstances.
- Execution, spread, slippage, swap, margin and order rejection are your broker's, not ours.
- Alerts and orders travel over the internet and can be delayed or fail. We aim to be fast and we measure it, but we do not promise delivery within any particular time.
- If you trade a prop firm or funded-challenge account, that firm's rules apply to you. Many restrict automated trading or copying. Check before you connect, because breaking their rules is between you and them.
9. Instant funding, and the fund manager programme
Some plans mention a deposit multiple, or an assessed fund manager programme. These are arrangements offered by a partner broker, and this is exactly how they work:
- You open an account with that broker and deposit your own money into it. The account is yours and the deposit stays with them.
- The broker, not STS, credits any additional trading capital, under the agreement you sign with them.
- STS provides no capital, holds no deposit, and has no claim on your profits.
- The broker's terms decide everything about that credit, including whether you qualify, and they can change or withdraw it. Questions about it are for them.
- Participation may be assessed and may be declined.
- We may be paid by the broker when you open or fund an account with them. That is how the free plan can be free, and we say so on the website.
- A larger balance is not free money. It buys a larger position for the same percentage risked, so losses grow exactly as gains do.
10. Hosted accounts
Where your plan includes hosted accounts, we run a MetaTrader terminal on our own infrastructure so you do not have to keep a machine running. It is still your broker account, and the trades are still yours. We may restart, move or maintain that infrastructure, and it can be unavailable at times.
11. Signals, statistics and backtests
Backtested results describe how a rule behaved on past data. They are not a prediction, and they are not a promise about your next trade.
- Everything the product shows is information, not advice, and not a personal recommendation.
- Statistics are measured over a defined sample and a defined cost model. Change the sample and the numbers change.
- Market data comes from third parties and from our own feed. It can be delayed, wrong or missing, and a signal built on bad data can be wrong.
- A published figure is what the run measured. It is not a forecast, and we do not adjust it to look better.
12. Community and shared portfolios
Where the product lets members publish a portfolio, or copy another member's, a copied trade is placed on your account, at the risk you set, and it is your trade. Another member's record is their history, not a promise about your results, and we do not vet, endorse or advise on any of it. Anything you publish must be yours to publish, and must not mislead.
13. Acceptable use
Do not use the services to:
- break any law, or help anyone else to
- manipulate a market, or trade on information you should not have
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your results to other members
- interfere with the service, or with anybody else's use of it
- gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours
14. Our intellectual property
The software, the strategy rules, the statistics we publish, the interface and the written material are ours or our licensors'. You get a licence to use them while you subscribe, and nothing more transfers to you. Your own data stays yours.
15. Availability and changes
- We do not promise the service is uninterrupted. It depends on brokers, data providers, hosting and networks we do not control.
- We improve and change the product, and features can be added, changed or withdrawn. We will not remove something central to a plan you are paying for without telling you.
- Maintenance, outages and third-party failures can stop alerts or automatic trading. Do not rely on the system to protect an open position.
16. Suspension and termination
- You may stop at any time by cancelling.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or puts other members or our systems at risk.
- If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
- Closing an account does not close any broker account you hold, and does not affect positions you have open. Those are yours to manage.
17. Risk warning
Trading foreign exchange, CFDs and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money quickly. Most retail accounts lose money. Only trade money you can afford to lose, and if you are unsure, take independent advice.
18. Disclaimers
The services are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including that the software is fit for a particular purpose or that any result will be achieved. We do not warrant that signals will be profitable, that data will be accurate or complete, or that alerts will arrive at a particular moment.
19. Limit of our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, for lost profit or opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability for all claims in any twelve month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some countries do not allow some of these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
20. Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your use of the services in breach of these terms, from your trading, or from anything you publish to other members.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use the services afterwards means you accept it.
22. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the law where you live.
23. General
- If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up.
- You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.
- These terms, with the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy, are the whole agreement between us.
